Today the highest temperature was like 24 degrees! Our poor cat's water bowl was a frozen ice cube! I am hoping this will not do permanent damage to our brand new pool. I wasn't feeling well today so I didn't make it over to the new house to check on progress, but even if I was feeling well, I don't think I would have made it over there. I felt sorry for the poor trim workers over there slaving in such low temps. I am glad they have propane heaters to help keep them warm. Still I was glad I was in my warm house. It is supposed to get down to 11 degrees tonight! Yikes! The weather is way more extreme here than where we used to live. Don't worry, Mom, the weather is supposed to be a lot better this weekend for your visit. :) I guess I'll get used to it.
